NNIT launches OneNNIT 2030 strategy to become the AI-driven niche specialist
NNIT launches OneNNIT 2030, a new strategy towards 2030 designed to position the company as the innovative, AI-driven niche specialist for life sciences internationally and critical and regulated industries in Denmark, delivering tangible customer impact.
The strategy builds on NNIT’s core strengths. For more than three decades, NNIT has built and operated systems in regulated, validated and audited environments, serving leading international pharmaceutical companies and, in Denmark serving the public sector, healthcare organizations, and companies in critical and regulated industries. With OneNNIT 2030, NNIT will compete on depth rather than scale, focusing on markets where domain expertise, regulatory understanding and proven delivery experience are critical.
The strategy is built around AI-infused value paths with advisory and AI as the door opener. Each path takes customers from strategy and an initial AI assessment through implementation and validation to long-term operation. Within life sciences, focused value paths will cover R&D, Manufacturing and Supply Chain, and the same model will guide NNIT’s work within critical and regulated industries in Denmark. The aim is multi-year relationships that create lasting value for customers and for NNIT.
“With OneNNIT 2030, we are setting a clear direction for NNIT’s next phase of growth. We will build on our strong foundation in regulated and complex environments to become the innovative, AI-driven niche specialist delivering tangible impact for our customers. Our focus is sharper, our operating model is becoming stronger, and AI will be embedded in how we advise, build and deliver for our customers. Our third quarter came in as expected, and we continue to see improving business performance and signs of increasing stability. We are progressing well with our plans for the year and are confident that the ongoing transformation will position NNIT for more predictable, sustainable and profitable growth,” says Claus Rydkjær, CEO, NNIT.
Sharper focus and AI at the core
Focus is the core of OneNNIT 2030. NNIT will have a revised offerings portfolio with fewer offerings, each tied to a defined niche and with AI at its core. In life sciences, NNIT will concentrate on R&D, including Clinical and Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing and Supply Chain. In Denmark, NNIT will focus on the public sector, healthcare, and critical and regulated industries.
To deliver OneNNIT 2030, NNIT is introducing a new operating model and one integrated organization across geographies, with the new structure taking effect on January 1, 2027. The transformation program will strengthen how NNIT goes to market, delivers solutions and runs its operations, creating clearer ownership, stronger accountability and a simpler structure across the company.
Commercially, NNIT is moving to a segment-based go-to-market model with clearer ownership of customer segments, stronger consulting-led engagement and increased focus on outcome-based value creation. In delivery, NNIT is embedding AI across the delivery lifecycle, supported by Lumina for AI-enabled software delivery, Alera for AI in regulated environments, and AI Value Realization for the life sciences industry. Reusable assets and common methods will increasingly replace one-off solutions, helping NNIT deliver more consistently and efficiently across customer engagements.
At the same time, NNIT is simplifying its operating model by moving towards one portfolio for the whole company, with fewer layers, clearer leadership responsibilities and a leaner operational foundation. Together, these changes are intended to make NNIT more focused and more efficient with a more predictable revenue mix built on longer customer relationships and the lasting value they create.
Q3 performance in line with expectations
NNIT’s Q3 2026 results were in line with expectations, with revenue of DKK 409.6 million. While revenue was lower than last year, this reflected NNIT’s deliberate decision to focus more sharply on its core business, be more selective about new contracts and prioritize projects that support the company’s long-term strategy. Adjusted for the divestment of NNIT Singapore, constant currency revenue growth was -4.2%.
Earnings before special items amounted to DKK 22.2 million, corresponding to a margin of 5.4%. Profitability was affected by the lower revenue, but NNIT continued to make progress in its transformation program and cost-reduction initiatives, helping to partly offset the impact. Overall, the quarter supports the picture of a business that is becoming more focused, disciplined and stable.
