Changing the business through good people management
We are all leaders of change. We all lead something or someone, and therefore we are all empowered to make a difference.
So says Camilla G. Møhl whose passion is improving the business through people management, because it is two sides of the same coin:
“Good people management is good for business, it’s that simple. And because I am very focused on contributing to propelling the business forward, I am equally committed to ensuring we all realize our roles as business and people managers – and to making sure we have the right organization and environment in place to allow people to thrive and develop”.
While Camilla’s entire professional life has been dedicated to HR, she does not see herself as an HR person per say:
“I am business oriented first and foremost; and then I get immense satisfaction from seeing the business develop and improve through people. When I was at business school, a professor of mine really inspired me with how he was able to connect business and organizational theory – and that has stuck with me”.
Improving jobs and customer experience
Camilla is excited about her new job– and she plans to do her research before settling on a plan to further unlock the business and organizational potential of NNIT.
“It’s a team effort, and I look forward to discovering what we can do together to make NNIT a truly great place to work. Together with my team, I want to find new ways to bring out the best in our people, so they can support the business and our customers in the best possible way”.
NNIT is different to the B2C businesses where she was previously employed, and she acknowledges that it will require more time to understand just how the business dynamics work, but it is also precisely “that something new” that motivates her:
“Usually, I am quick to diagnose problems, but I am very humble to the fact that NNIT is a new business for me, and I want to spend some time studying and learning first”.

The goal is to make NNIT a great experience for all stakeholders, not least employees, and to make them proud of being part of NNIT. For that to happen, NNIT must become a truly great place to work, Camilla asserts and adds:
“If we achieve that, everything else will follow: Results will improve, and attrition rates will decline. It’s a great professional and personal challenge – leadership is a key driver for creating attractive work places and in my experience, integrating how we lead into everything that we do, will create great results. Again, good people management is good for business, and we need to facilitate that fusion,” Camilla ends.
