Production and Laboratory to be headed by Marco Glauner – replacing Thomas Halfmann who is retiring from the life sciences consulting business

After a long and very successful career within life sciences consulting, most notably within pharma production, Associate Vice President and Head of NNIT Production and Laboratory Thomas Halfmann has decided to leave NNIT and the consulting business to wholeheartedly pursue a career within photography.

Therefore, starting on February 1st, Marco Glauner will take over the responsibility of Head of NNIT Production and Laboratory.

“Thomas Halfmann has been a beacon in our Production and Laboratory strategy execution and instrumental in building the business area in NNIT, beginning when HGP was acquired and integrated in 2019. Since then, business has continuously expanded internally and in the market to the point where Production and Laboratory are pillars in NNIT's international Life Sciences success and journey. I would like to thank Thomas Halfmann for his invaluable and passionate contribution; and I wish him the best in his new ventures. By the same token, I would like to congratulate Marco Glauner who joined NNIT through the integration of prime4services only last year and will now head up the Production and Laboratory team,” says Vice President, NNIT Life Sciences Advisory & Consulting, Rune Ringsholm Bergendorff.

Thomas Halfmann had his last working day in NNIT on January 27 but will remain in an associate consultant role until the end of February 2023.

A unique value proposition within life sciences manufacturing

Over the years, NNIT has added significant expertise and resources to its collective Production and Laboratory offering, which also includes the offerings of Group companies Excellis and SL Controls.

“I could not be more excited about this promotion and the opportunity to work with the fantastic, upscaled Production and Laboratory team, merging expertise and methodologies of the former prime4services with the great team that Thomas Halfmann has built and led to success over the past years. With our joined forces, we will lift our unique value proposition into the market of life sciences manufacturing digitization and digitalization to the next level, providing an end-to-end service portfolio. I’m both, thankful for the trust and full of respect for the challenges ahead,” says Director and Head of Production and Laboratory Marco Glauner.
