Association of Danish Pharmacies extends contract with NNIT for the operation and development of PharmaNet
Association of Danish Pharmacies has chosen to continue their collaboration with NNIT for a further four years. NNIT will remain responsible for the operation and development of the PharmaNet system, which is the backbone of the daily customer service and financial management at more than 325 pharmacy units across Denmark. NNIT took over responsibility for the system in 2007.
Association of Danish Pharmacies has decided to retain its partnership with NNIT regarding on-site development, maintenance, help desk and support for the pharmacies, as well as the underlying operation of PharmaNet. The system is used for customer service and financial management. The contract represents a moderate three-digit million DKK turnover over four years.

So it is paramount for Association of Danish Pharmacies to offer our members an effective and stable system, which is continually developed to reflect their business needs," says Anders Kretzschmar, CEO of Association of Danish Pharmacies. "NNIT has over the past eight years demonstrated their ability to deliver what we need."
The contract also covers extensive further development of PharmaNet that will be updated with the newest tools and functionalities to support the pharmacies’ efficient and swift service of customers and the necessary advising in connection with the purchase of drugs.
