Press release -

NNIT wins new contract with the Danish Agency for Labor Market and Recruitment

Today, NNIT signed a new contract with the Danish Agency for Labor Market and Recruitment (STAR) to be part of their ‘STAR City’ setup, responsible for the development and maintenance of STAR’s IT systems.

STAR City is a multiple supplier set-up, and, starting as soon as December 2, NNIT will begin handover from the existing contractor. NNIT will be responsible for system development, maintenance and project management of the parts relating to individual employment planning and recruitment modules.

NNIT will be onboarded with a start-up team of approximately 15 consultants (developers, architects, process, and project managers), who will be working full time for STAR City.

The contract is estimated to be worth around DKK 100 million and will run for an initial period of five years with the possibility for STAR to extend and expand.

A dream contract for NNIT

"We are delighted to join STAR City, which is a dream contract for NNIT as we were part of the original setup and therefore have preexisting knowledge and experience. Our highly competent team of consultants are excited to join and contribute to increasing the success rate of STAR – matching more citizens with meaningful employment – by delivering the best possible digital platforms and tools," says Senior Vice President Kasper Søndergaard Andersen, NNIT Region Denmark, and CEO Pär Fors adds:

"For NNIT’s continued development, this is a perfect match in line with our strategic focus on the Danish Public sector and our aspiration to enhance quality of life for Danish citizens through improved digital services. We are proud once again to be chosen for such an important project."

Head of IT department Louise Seidler Johansen, STAR, comments

"We are glad to welcome NNIT as our new IT partner. Their compelling proposal demonstrated a strong understanding of our needs, and we are confident in their ability to support and develop our IT systems. We look forward to a productive and successful collaboration."
