The NNIT headquarters is now ISO 14001 certified

Following an audit of our Environmental Management System, carried out by ISO certifiers DNV earlier this month, the NNIT headquarters formally received its ISO 14001 certification on February 8.

ISO 14001 is a new certification for NNIT. The Environmental Management System that has been implemented into our Quality Management System focuses on our behavior, processes, and policies ensuring that we continue to act responsibly and reduce our footprint over time: Our specific environmental goals have now been implemented in our processes.

Dedication to the sustainability agenda

In January, the auditor from DNV spent three days reviewing our work as well as our headquarter facilities in Soeborg, Denmark. Among other things, she pointed out that our quality system is a great foundation for ensuring compliance, and, as a company, we have optimal conditions for reaching new heights within the environmental framework.

She also stressed our dedication to the sustainability agenda as crucial in the continuous work with the ISO 14001 certification, and that she experienced this commitment from everyone she met during the audit.

Executive sponsor of the process, Senior Vice President of Life Sciences Solutions, Ricco Larsen, comments:

“I am very impressed with the work done by the team involved in this process. Obtaining an ISO certificate does not come easily, and it requires focus and dedication over a longer period of time. It makes me immensely proud to know that not only did we pass the certification audit, we also got feedback that underpins our values and commitment to the continuous reduction of our environmental footprint”.

NNIT China (Tianjin) was also recently ISO 14001 certified (issued December 2022).
