NNIT Accelerates Its Industry Focus
With more than 30 years of experience delivering IT consultancy and digital solutions to the life science industry and the public sector, NNIT is now taking further steps in its strategic industry focus.
Building on decades of partnerships and proven expertise, NNIT continues to refine its focus across three core areas: The life science industry internationally, the public sector in Denmark, and Microsoft‑based solutions through SCALES in the Danish private sector.
This development underscores NNIT’s ongoing commitment to combining deep industry knowledge with leading digital capabilities – creating sustainable growth, delivering measurable value to customers, and offering meaningful career opportunities for employees.
Sharper focus through enhanced technological alignment
NNIT is refining its organizational structure to strengthen the alignment between technology capabilities and industry focus areas. Region Denmark will continue to concentrate on public sector solutions, supporting digital modernization and transformation initiatives. Region Europe will expand its expertise in data‑driven solutions for the life science industry, while SCALES will further consolidate NNIT’s Microsoft Dynamics 365 technology offerings to better serve private sector customers.
“NNIT continues to advance by focusing even more on what we do best – combining deep industry understanding with strong technological expertise. In Denmark, we are intensifying our work with the public sector, helping government organizations succeed in their digital ambitions within areas such as AI. Across Europe, our life science business continues to evolve internationally, and SCALES strengthens our leadership as a Microsoft powerhouse within the private sector. These focus areas represent the essence of NNIT and will drive our next phase of sustainable growth,” says Pär Fors, CEO, NNIT.
Leadership update
Separately from these organizational adjustments, Kasper Søndergaard Andersen, Senior Vice President for Region Denmark, has decided to pursue a new career opportunity outside NNIT. NNIT extends its appreciation for his dedicated leadership and many contributions, and wishes him every success in his future endeavors.
Jens Maagøe, who has been with NNIT since 2008, will assume the position of Senior Vice President for Region Denmark. As a seasoned professional within the public sector, Jens is ideally suited to continue NNIT’s strategic journey and lead Region Denmark forward with an even stronger focus on public sector customers.
“I am excited to take on this role and build upon the solid foundation Kasper has established. These organizational developments provide NNIT with a clearer structure and a stronger platform for growth – commercially and personally. Change can feel significant, yet it also brings momentum and opportunity. With sharper focus, clear responsibilities, and reinforced collaboration across NNIT, we are well positioned to create greater value for our customers and new opportunities for our colleagues,” adds Jens Maagøe, newly appointed SVP for Region Denmark, NNIT.
These changes represent a meaningful step in NNIT’s continued development, strengthening the company’s industry focus as a driver for creating value for its customers, growth for its employees, and long‑term sustainability. NNIT remains dedicated to being a trusted IT partner for organizations in sectors where technology contributes to improving quality of life.
