NNIT Operations Specialist Lucas Füssel has worked on a way to reduce energy consumption in one of NNIT’s data centers, 1P, in Bagsværd, Denmark. He identified that by just allowing a slight increase in the overall temperatures in the data halls, we can lower the energy consumption with 12,61%.
Following an audit of our Environmental Management System, carried out by ISO certifiers DNV earlier this month, the NNIT headquarters formally received its ISO 14001 certification on February 8.

On June 1, NNIT was awarded the contract for delivery of administrative IT systems and services to Danmarks Nationalbank. The contract has an estimated worth of DKK 1 billion and runs for a period of six years with the possibility for extending for another two years. The standstill period has now come to an end, and the contract has been signed.
